Manuela Gonon, 45 ans, est française. Elle parle anglais et espagnol et a de bonnes notions de portugais et de japonais. A l’âge de 31 ans, après la découverte d'une tumeur cancéreuse dans l'œil, Manuela s'est mise à étudier le Shiatsu. Puis à 35 ans, elle décide de se consacrer entièrement à l'étude et à la pratique du "shiatsu" après 12 ans d'expériences professionnelles dans la communication (télévision, journalisme, organisation d'événements, relations internationales) et de nombreux voyages à l'étranger. Quelques mois plus tard, elle quitte sa vie parisienne pour s’installer au bord d’une plage andalouse entre deux eaux: celle de l’Atlantique et celle du Guadalquivir (Chipiona). Depuis lors, elle découvre qu'elle a un don: "mes mains se mettent à chauffer exactement et uniquement à l'endroit où la personne a une douleur ou un nœud d'anxiété... en général, cela aide à faire passer la tension voir le problème et à détecter les endroits du corps qui pourraient présenter des blocages" raconte Manuela. Elle essaye de maîtriser et d'utiliser au mieux ce don qui s’appelle « magnétisme ». Raison pour laquelle elle a recours au Reiki dans le cadre de son travail de thérapeute. "Les cristaux et les minéraux sont également des outils et des compagnons extraordinaires dans le cadre d’un soin" rajoute Manuela.

A la edad de 31 años, después de que se le declarase un tumor canceroso en un ojo, Manuela se volcó en el aprendizaje y en la práctica de shiatsu. Cuatro años más tarde, después de 12 años de vida profesional en el mundo de la comunicación (televisión, periodismo, organización de eventos y relaciones internacionales) y muchos viajes en el mundo, Manuela decidió dedicarse de lleno al estudio y la practica profesional del shiatsu. Al año siguiente, deja su vida en París para vivir en una playa andaluza al cruce entre el Atlántico y el Guadalquivir: Chipiona. Luego se dio cuenta que poseía una facultad especial, un don en sus manos que se manifiesta de la siguiente manera: "sus manos se ponen calientes exactamente y únicamente en el lugar preciso en el que el paciente tiene un dolor o un nudo de ansiedad". En general, esto alivia y suprime el dolor y permite aniquilar cualquier traba y también ayuda a encontrar las partes del cuerpo con problemas. Con el afán de dominar y de controlar éste don al máximo, Manuela intenta día tras día utilizar y manejar este don de magnetismo lo mejor posible. Por eso utiliza el Reiki para su trabajo de terapeuta. También trabaja con minerales y cristales que son para ella "una herramienta y unos compañeros increíbles".

Manuela Gonon, 45 years old, is a Frenchwoman. She speaks English and Spanish and has a fair knowledge of Portuguese and Japanese. At the age of 31, after a cancerous tumour in her eye had been diagnosed and cured, Manuela started to learn “Shiatsu”. When she was 35, after having worked in the field of communication (television, journalism, event management and international relations) for 12 years and after having travelled a lot, she decided to devote herself entirely to the studies and practice of Shiatsu. Then the next year she left Paris for the South of Europe, a beach in Andalusia, where the Atlantic Ocean and the Guadalquivir River meet: Chipiona. Back then she realized that she had the gift to heal with her hands, which can be explained like this: "The hands get warm exactly and exclusively where the person’s body has the pains or tensions caused by anxiety. In general this makes the pain disappear and this also helps detecting problems in the body." Manuela tries to use and develop this gift of magnetism to the best of her ability. This is the reason why she also uses Reiki for her work together with stones and minerals, which are "marvellous friends and excellent tools".
